Bob and Julie de Korne' acquired Ciao Bella Ristorante in September of 2005.
They have been residents of Riverside and involved in the community and the surrounding region for twenty years, lending a hand in everything from political
campaigns to improving the area's health and welfare. They have devoted their time and resources to raising awareness and funds for the United Way, Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation, local hospital foundations in both Riverside and Moreno Valley as well as numerous other philanthropic endeavors.
Bob and Julie also recognized the need for more fine dining establishments with an inviting and relaxing environment and quality cuisine in the Riverside area.
They believed that Ciao Bella had the potential to fill that niche. Since they acquired the restaurant they have tastefully redecorated the interior and have
relandscaped and remodeled the patio, including an outdoor fireplace, fountain and comfortable seating areas. It is without a doubt the most attractive restaurant in
the inland empire with a casual elegance unmatched in the most metropolitan environments.
They have hired and trained the most accommodating, service oriented and dedicated staff. Bob and Julie have said "At Ciao Bella we have cultivated a supportive
environment of respect among our employees and owners that is most conducive to our joint goal of providing superior customer service to our guests. And we like
having fun in the process". The wine and martini bar also serves a full array of cocktails and features live entertainment Thursdays through Saturdays.
They have concentrated heavily on food quality by buying the freshest ingredients and finest cuts of meat, poultry and fish. Our Chef, Juan Solorzano, painstakingly
prepares the most creative and tasteful dishes, having learned his craft over a fifteen year period at other local favorites including Mario's and Napa 29.
Bob and Julie have years of experience managing in a corporate environment as well as a wide range of consulting services. Julie's background in the hospitality
industry ranges from managing major dinner events and golf tournaments to restaurants in Orange and Riverside Counties. Julie personally manages the day to
day operations, while Bob concentrates on customer relations and fiscal management; that's the official company line, basically, Julie likes to work and Bob likes to
socialize.
